Legal
Acceptable use policy
Keep Viralix, your accounts and other people safe. Last updated 22 October 2026.
This document describes how Viralix works today. It is a draft for the operator's legal review before launch and is not legal advice.
This policy is part of our terms of service. It exists to protect people who receive your content, the platforms we connect to, and every other Viralix customer, because one abusive account can put access to those platforms at risk for everyone.
You must
- Follow the terms and policies of every platform you connect, including Meta, Google and YouTube, and TikTok.
- Connect only accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- Respect messaging rules: reply windows, opt-outs and consent requirements for private messages.
- Disclose paid partnerships and sponsored content as the platforms and the law require.
- Keep your sign-in details and your team's access under control.
You must not
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk or repetitive promotional messages, or use automations to harass or mislead people.
- Post or send content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Post content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy, or that impersonates a person or brand.
- Run fake accounts, buy or sell engagement, or manipulate platform metrics.
- Use Viralix to scrape platforms, to collect personal data without a lawful basis, or to build lists for unrelated purposes.
- Try to get around platform limits, plan limits, rate limits or security controls, or probe the service for weaknesses without our written permission.
- Upload malware or content designed to damage systems, or interfere with the service for other customers.
- Resell or share your account in a way that avoids plan limits.
Automations
Automations must be useful to the person receiving them: a relevant answer to something they asked. Do not use them for unsolicited promotion, and make sure a real person can take over. Viralix may limit or pause an automation that appears to break platform rules.
What happens if the policy is broken
Depending on how serious the problem is, we may remove content, pause an automation, disconnect a channel, suspend the account or end it, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities. Where possible we warn you first. A platform may also act on your accounts independently of us.
